Foster Teens Graduate High School

Inspiring At-Risk Teens to Achieve Their Goals through Our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF) Program

We are extremely proud to announce that three teens from our PRTF program have recently graduated from high school, overcoming personal challenges and setting ambitious goals for their future.

HH is 17 years old and the first high school graduate from her family, defying expectations and proving naysayers wrong. As HH prepares to leave us, she aspires to pursue a cosmetology degree to follow in her mother’s footsteps and take up an apprenticeship in tattooing and piercing. HH has put in tremendous effort to be where she is today and remains committed to ongoing hard work and growth.

Our second graduate, CO, began her journey alone and with low expectations, but through her own steadfast determination and willpower, she has emerged as a high school graduate. CO, now 16, intends to continue proving doubters wrong and has set her sights high. CO plans to attend college, secure a job, earn a bachelor’s degree in business, and live an independent life, complete with a driver’s license, car, and house.

Our third graduate, AO, is 16 and wrote this letter for her graduation party:

“My name is AO, I’m 16, and I graduated high school. My mom and family couldn’t be here for me, but that’s ok because I have all of you who have my back and always have since I’ve been here. I don’t think I had any credits when I started, and I hated my teacher. He’s grouchy, but I thank him because he pushed me to do what I didn’t think I could do. I had an amazing teacher this year, and I worked hard for it. When I was little, all I wanted to do was graduate high school and be the first to graduate and be successful in my family. I have seen the most incredible things happen here and watched so many girls grow better and brighter because of this place. EmberHope Youthville genuinely gives me hope about the lives they’re helping. So, thank you all.”
