Partner Spotlight: Climate Shield Home Exteriors Donates $10,000 to Support Kansas Foster Youth

At EmberHope, we are incredibly grateful for the businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals who stand beside us to support foster youth and families across Kansas. One of those partners is Climate Shield Home Exteriors, a locally owned home improvement company that recently made a generous $10,000 donation to support our mission. Their gift will directly benefit children and families impacted by foster care, and their commitment goes far beyond the check.

We had the opportunity to speak with Savannah Wendler, Office Manager & Brand Ambassador for Climate Shield Home Exteriors, about why giving back matters to their team.

Climate Shield Home Exteriors focuses on windows, siding, and patio doors, but their purpose reaches deeper than home improvement. “At our core, we just want to help people love their homes again,” Wendler shared. “We believe in doing the job right, being honest with our customers, and treating every home as if it were our own.”

That same spirit of care and integrity is what led them to EmberHope. After learning about our mission through local community connections, the team felt an immediate pull to get involved. “Supporting children and families navigating challenging situations really resonated with us,” Wendler stated. “We’re in the business of improving homes, but for us, a home is more than walls and windows. It’s about safety, love, and opportunity.”

Over the past year, Climate Shield Home Exteriors has supported both Foster Care Awareness Month and National Adoption Month, using their platform to raise awareness and spark conversations about the needs of foster youth in Kansas. “We wanted to do more than just write a check,” said Wendler. “These campaigns gave us a way to invite others into the conversation and encourage them to find their own way to get involved.”

The heart for community is something woven into the company’s culture. “We’re not just here to sell windows,” Wendler emphasized. “We’re here to make a positive impact. Our entire team is passionate about causes that matter, and we firmly believe that when the community thrives, we all do.”

When asked what she would say to other companies considering supporting EmberHope, Wendler didn’t hesitate: “Jump in! No matter your size, there’s always a way to help. Whether it’s donations, sponsorships, or volunteering, every little bit makes a difference. Partnering with EmberHope is something you won’t regret.”

Looking ahead, the Climate Shield Home Exteriors team plans to continue investing in youth- and family-focused causes and involving both their staff and customers in community efforts. “We’re just getting started,” Wendler promised.

We are so thankful to Savannah and the entire Climate Shield Home Exteriors team for their generosity, advocacy, and heartfelt commitment to Kansas kids and families.
