My name is Riley, people call me Ry. I’m 16 years old. I’ve been in the system since December 2019. What got me there was that my parents were really toxic people. They didn’t really like me very much, even though I was their kid, and you would think parents and their kids are supposed to love each other, nope.
This group that I’m in right now has really helped me the most. If anybody ever asks me what the biggest impact I’ve ever had in my life it is going to be EmberHope Youthville…and I’m going to be graduating this year, and that’s all because I came here. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and God, you just have to trust in him all the time.
